Arizona American Mother's, Inc. is an inter-faith, non-profit organization
dedicated to strengthening the moral and spiritual foundation
of the family and the home.
Welcome! Arizona needs good mothers—and good mothers need Arizona AMI! We intend to be a force for good in our homes, in our neighborhoods, and beyond.
One hundred and thirty years ago (in 1878), my great-great grandmother lived in a covered wagon on the banks of the muddy Little Colorado River, hoping someday to find a suitable place to start a new community in the barren northern Arizona Territory. Her challenges were many, but she rose to the occasion and gave her all as a mother, a friend, and as a pioneer building for future generations.
She didn't record much of her adventures, and her few possessions are all but disappeared, but her somewhat ordinary life has impacted thousands and been felt on several continents.
As a mothers today, our lives are just as important and our challenges are just as real as they were for Arizona's early families. We need to understand our roles, learn how to do them well, and seek God's help in all we do.
The strength of this organization is ordinary moms doing everyday tasks with extraordinary love. The result of their efforts will be far-reaching—men and women who shape their communities, their nation, and the world.Please join us as we set our eyes to the horizon!
